Carnelian, Agate, and Amber Necklace

Burnt orange is found throughout nature as the elements of this lovely necklace prove. You could make this a go-to piece during autumn, but as gorgeous as it is, why limit it to just one season. It's equally reminiscent of the embers of a fire in a fireplace during winter or a romantic summer night on the beach feeding your lover toasted marshmallows. What does it remind you of?

The pendant in this necklace is a modern dzi bead replica of ancient Tibetan dzi beads. Modern processes are used to create the pattern. When I first encountered this style of bead, I knew nothing of its background. I fell in love with the colors and distinctive decorative designs. The amber beads were a prefect match.
